Crawl rate is the speed at which a search engine crawler requests pages from your server, typically measured in requests per second or pages per day.

## What Is Crawl Rate?
Crawl rate refers to how many requests per second a search engine bot makes to your server. Google automatically adjusts Googlebot's crawl rate based on your server's response time and error rate. If your server responds quickly and returns few errors, Google increases the crawl rate.

## Why Crawl Rate Matters
A higher crawl rate means more pages get crawled per day, which is beneficial for large sites with frequently changing content. However, an excessively high crawl rate can overload your server, causing performance problems for real users.

## How to Monitor and Adjust
