1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and LogBeast ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the LogBeast software application ("Software" or "Service").

By using LogBeast, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. License Grant

2.1 Personal License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Install and use LogBeast on up to 3 devices that you own or control
• Use the Software for personal or commercial purposes
• Receive updates and support during your license period

2.2 Enterprise License

Enterprise licenses allow installation on multiple devices across your organization. Terms and device limits are specified in your purchase agreement.

2.3 License Duration

• Annual License: Valid for 12 months from purchase date
• Perpetual License: Does not expire but may not include future updates after 1 year

3. Usage Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• ❌ Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• ❌ Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software
• ❌ Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices or branding
• ❌ Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Software
• ❌ Use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• ❌ Share your license key with others
• ❌ Exceed the device limit specified in your license
• ❌ Use the Software to create competing products

4. Free Trial

LogBeast offers a 14-day free trial with full feature access:

• No credit card required to start trial
• One trial per user/email address
• Trial automatically ends after 14 days
• Purchase a license anytime to continue using LogBeast
• We reserve the right to refuse or limit trials

5. Payment & Refunds

5.1 Pricing

All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing customers.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and PayPal. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

5.3 Refund Policy

After 14 days, all sales are final. No refunds for partial subscription periods.

5.4 Renewal

Annual licenses do NOT auto-renew. You'll receive renewal reminders via email 30, 14, and 7 days before expiration.

6. Updates & Support

6.1 Software Updates

• Free updates included during your license period
• Updates are optional but recommended for security and features
• Major version upgrades (e.g., v2 → v3) may require additional purchase

6.2 Technical Support

• Email support included with all licenses
• Response time: 24-48 hours (business days)
• Priority support available for Enterprise customers
• Support ends when your license expires

7. Intellectual Property

The Software, including all code, designs, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive property of LogBeast and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your license grants you the right to use the Software, not to own it. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.

8. Warranties & Disclaimers

8.1 Limited Warranty

We warrant that the Software will perform substantially as described in our documentation for 90 days from purchase. Your exclusive remedy is to request a refund within this period.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Data Loss

LogBeast processes your server logs client-side only. We are not responsible for any data loss. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your original log files.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Software at any time. Uninstall it from all devices. No refunds after the 14-day guarantee period.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your license if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay renewal fees
• Use the Software in a way that harms our reputation or services

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license is immediately revoked
• You must uninstall and stop using the Software
• You lose access to updates and support
• Sections 7, 8, 9, 11 survive termination

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dublin, Ireland.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under local consumer protection laws.

11.1 Arbitration (US Customers)

For US customers, disputes under $10,000 may be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court, at either party's election.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective:

• Immediately for new users
• 30 days after notice for existing users

We will notify you of material changes via:

• Email to your registered address
• In-app notification
• Notice on this page with updated date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree, stop using the Software and request a pro-rated refund.
